Acuerdo de términos y condiciones (para particulares)

 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Wallet on File feature offered by AstroPay Global (IOM) Limited (hereinafter “AstroPay”) in partnership with the Participating Merchant. For the purposes of these Terms, “Participating Merchant” refers to the specific third-party merchant with whom you are choosing to link your AstroPay Wallet, and that has entered into an agreement with AstroPay to integrate and utilize the Wallet on File feature. These Terms apply uniformly across all merchants offering this functionality in partnership with AstroPay. By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by them in full.

These Terms are complementary to the applicable general Terms and Conditions of the AstroPay App available at: AstroPay T&C. Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meaning given in the general AstroPay Terms and Conditions. 

In the event of any conflict between the provisions of these Terms and the ones contained in the applicable AstroPay T&C, the provisions of these Terms shall prevail.

1. Wallet on File

The Wallet on File feature enables AstroPay users to securely link their AstroPay Wallet to the Participating Merchant’s platform and authorize future payments directly from the wallet without repeated approval. This feature consists of two components:

• - Account Linking: A one-time process where you authorize the Participating Merchant to link with your AstroPay Wallet.
  
• Fund Pulling: Once linked, the Participating Merchant can request and capture payments from your wallet based on the permissions granted.

2. Account Linking Authorization

By completing the linking process available on AstroPay’s app:

• You authorize the Participating Merchant to store a secure token issued by AstroPay for initiating future payment requests.
• You may define preferences and pull permissions through the AstroPay App.
• You agree on AstroPay sharing relevant information about your account—including account balance, linked status, and personal data with the Participating Merchant, to enable the Wallet on File functionality.

3. Fund Pulling Process

Once your wallet is linked, the Participating Merchant may initiate payment requests from your AstroPay Wallet without requiring your direct approval each time.

When a payment is requested through the Participating Merchant’s site, you will receive a notification confirming that a fund pull has been initiated. This request will also be visible in the Activity section of the AstroPay App.

If your wallet has sufficient funds, the transaction will be processed instantly. If insufficient funds are available, the transaction will be declined. AstroPay may notify you and/or offer to retry the action. Reversals and refunds can be processed by the Participating Merchant in accordance with AstroPay’s transaction framework.

4. User Consent for Personal Data Sharing

By agreeing to these Terms you explicitly authorize AstroPay to share with the Participating Merchant personal data and transaction-related information necessary to operate this feature, including but not limited to: account balance, fund availability, linked status, and usage history. This data may be stored or processed by the Participating Merchant and its service providers, in accordance with applicable laws and AstroPay’s Privacy Policy.

5. Unlinking Your Wallet

You may unlink your wallet from the Participating Merchant at any time by removing the connection on the Participating Merchant site. AstroPay shall not be held liable for any issues, delays, or failures arising from the unlinking process, as it is solely managed and executed through the Participating Merchant’s platform.

Once unlinked, no further transactions can be initiated by the Participating Merchant, and any pending or recurring payments must be managed directly with the Participating Merchant.

6. Limitation of Liability

By accepting these Terms, the User acknowledges and agrees that AstroPay shall not be held responsible for:

• Transactions declined due to insufficient funds.
• Any actions or omissions of the Participating Merchant or third-party service providers.
• Any resulting damages, direct or indirect, from your actions, omissions or the general use of the Wallet on File feature.
• Any erroneous, duplicate, or failed debits.

‍7. Termination, Suspension and Changes

AstroPay may, at its discretion, suspend or terminate the Wallet on File feature for any user or Participating Merchant. 

AstroPay may also amend these Terms with prior notice to you as per its communication policy. Continued use of the Wallet on File feature after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance.
